Jenny has been teaching theatre for over fifteen years. She has previously taught for Totem Pole Playhouse, Wilson College Enrichment Program, Cumberland Valley School of Music, Harrisburg Opera, Arts Express of Chambersburg, and Steel River Playhouse. She has worked with young children to adults.
In her current position as Director of the Drama Department at Renaissance Academy in Phoenixville, PA, Jenny instructs high school courses in acting, comedy and film analysis. She also teaches elementary creative dramatics. Jenny created the “Renaissance Theatre Project (RTP),” which is a small company of actors. For RTP, Jenny has directed productions of Dog Sees God, Love (Awkwardly), and two of her original plays, The High and Happy Room. She also created the comedy improvisation touring troupe, LOL, which has performed regionally. Jenny established residency partnerships between Renaissance’s Theatre Department and such companies as The Philadelphia Acting Studio and People’s Light and Theatre Company.
Jenny was a guest instructor of improvisation at the University of Valley Forge. She is currently an adjunct professor of English and Theatre at Albright College.
